Knott's Halloween Haunt,
Now - November 1st, Quinn's pick |
 |
Like me,
the world's first, largest and longest running theme
park Halloween extravaganza only gets better with
age. =^.^= Come celebrate 36 years of your gravest
fears at Knott's Halloween Haunt. This ghoulish
granddaddy of all Halloween celebrations has been
resurrected for 28 nights of fright. Halloween Haunt
transforms the family friendly Knott’s Berry Farm
into a 160-acre living horror movie filled with 13
chilling mazes, 7 hair-raising shows, three horrific
scare zones and 1,000 monsters roaming for their
next victim. Halloween Haunt is a scary event and
definitely not recommended for children under 13.
The Halloween Haunt at Knott’s Scary Farm is a
special ticket event and not included in the regular
admission price.

The
boys of winter are back. The Ducks are looking to go
back to the Stanley Cup finals this year. During the
off-season the Ducks added some new players to their
roster like Brendan Morrison and Steve Montador.
They also sign some key players like Teemu Selanne
to contract extensions. This year should be a good
one, they have all the components to make a great
team this year. Their home opener is this Sunday at
5pm. Great seats are still available through

Paton Oswalt,
October 13th,
David's pick |
 |
Patton
Oswalt is probably most known for his voice of "Remy
the Rat," in Pixar's blockbuster hit, Ratatouille.
Well, he is also one of the best stand-up comedians
out there too, but his name isn't up there with the
Chris Rocks just yet. Paton has been headlining
comedy clubs all over the U.S. since 1996 and he
also spent nine seasons playing Spence on CBS's hit
show, King of Queens. He's done three stand-up
specials, one for HBO and a one hour special for
Comedy Central. Paton is in town for one night and
one show only. View some of his comedy clips on
youtube.com before you go to see if his comedy
is for you.
